Beautiful sheep in Free State, South AfricaMariam noted that if she wanted to experience reactions from others, they only had to find out that she did not eat the flesh of murdered animals.
She experienced reactions ranging from uneasiness to near hostility. Some told her they liked the taste of dead meat.
Mariam looked at Rabbi Jesus, and said, "Nothing tastes as good as mercy does."
Mariam asked the Rabbi, "What does it mean to do acts of kindness and healing to humans and animals?"
Rabbi Jesus answered, "It means being an angel of mercy instead of a demon of depravity."
